Please mark your calendar for February 13th, for our third monthly, recurring discussion round on the reconstruction process of Japan's disaster-hit Tohoku region.
For this forum we are pround to welcome three experts for Capacity/ Leadership Building, Community Empowerment

2. Angel ORTIZ, O.G.A. for Aid
(tentative title: Supporting the Communities of Minamisanriku and providing a long-term future perspective)
3. Manabu SHINBORI, WAWA Project

We will make sure the discussion portion of this event to be about half of its designated time to ensure all interested participants to voice their ideas as a means of mutual benefit. We would like this forum to be a multi-directional, interdisciplinary way of communication.
The event is produced by Architecture for Humanity, Tokyo (@AFHtyo) and Tokyo Planning Forum (@TPFsquare), in cooperation with Waseda University.
What was the main topic on
What was the main topic on discussion and was there any people opposing it?

?! What may we conclude ?!
May we conclude now that most members and volunteers didn't receive the last messages under this threat, or rather, that they are not too keen to come forward and actively engage in an agenda setting process?
Embarrassing as it sounds, going with a tutorial might be a good idea at this point. We need to be sure that everybody receives messages throught the AfH page and is able to initiate own discussions and make comments.
Any ideas? Bill? Tomoro? Martin?
Revised event flyer uploaded
We have uploaded a revised flyer for our forthcoming event 'GIVING BACK TO JAPAN2: 5 Tohoku Leaders Report' and we are looking forward to welcoming you, joining our conversation on how to create a more sustainable, resilient Tohoku.
Thank you for your kind interest!
Got it
Hi,
I received the message, although it ended in my spambox so maybe the same happened to other people?
I'm sorry I didn't participate to any of the AFH Tokyo events (couldn't attend any of the TPF2 events), and I'm afraid I won't be in Tokyo/Japan much longer (6 months or so). In any case I'll be interested to meet you and learn more about future projects, even though I might be unable to participate in the long run.
i got the message chris.
maybe we need to get a tutorial? i don't think the message went out to everyone, somehow....
Hi
Hello Christian,
Good Afternoon.
Yes, I did receive your message. I am looking forward to see the chapter meet up.
Have a good day and thank you for the greeting message.
Regards,
Mickey

Rock X Rebuild
Hi William,
Is this event a pay at the door event?
I would also like to talk to you about the opportunity of us surelockhomes.jp offering to build the community
centre. We are and have supplied some to Tohoku within the last year and they are well received using our log house technology.
Best regards,
Colin Shea.
